Super Strike Bullet Lures
The Super Strike Bullet is a lure that has a short and wide profile that gives it the ability to cast long distances to reach and catch fish! They are a stubby needlefish lure that can be fished fast or slow, on top or swam/jigged at any depth. The heavy weight version is great for big water conditions: heavy sweep, big swell, high winds. It can be used any time of the year, but stands out lure when baits like mullet, baby bunker, butterfish and snappers are present. The Bullet is a lure especially helpful in punching through a head wind.
The Super Strike Bullet is available in a standard and a heavy version.
- The Standard BT4 Super Strike Bullet is a 4-9/16" long, 1-5/8oz stubby needlefish which has a slow sink rate. It comes rigged with 2/0 treble hooks and has a 330lb test belly swivel.
- The Heavy BT4HW Super Strike Bullet is a 4-9/16" long, 2-1/2oz sinking lure that has a fast sink rate. It is rigged with a 2/0 belly treble 330lb belly swivel and a 5/0 single j-hook on the tail, NOT dressed with hair/flash. Some anglers like to rig the Super Strike Bullet with a hackle feather dressed single siwash in the rear and some prefer a treble. For the utmost casting distance an oversized tail hook can be added and the belly treble hook removed. The rear hook should be attached with one or two (linked together) split rings so the hook can hinge and lay flat against the lure for ultimate aerodynamics.
