The ECO Lure Spoons feature stainless steel split rings, stainless steel screw and nut to secure a 9/0 Mustad Hook, and a stainless steel blade size # 3-1/2 (5-1/2" blade). ECO spoons have a Flash accent added onto the Stainless Steel blade to help trigger strikes. ECO Lures are used to catch many species in particular the King Mackerel, Bluefish, Striped Bass, and Cobia.
When compared to the Original DRONE spoon the ECO spoon has a smaller classic design Mustad O'Shaughnessy hook size and utilizes a stainless steel split ring instead of hand silver soldered solid nickel silver rings. These slight changes make these fish catching spoons more economical hence the ECO brand.
