The Daiwa Certate SW takes a trusted inshore and light tackle reel platform and upgrades it for serious saltwater performance. Available up to an 18000 size, the Certate SW delivers the strength, durability, and smooth power needed for everything from back bay and inlet fishing to heavier open-water applications.
Built around Daiwa’s legendary Monocoque (MQ) body design, the Certate SW uses a rigid one-piece frame that houses a large G1 Duralumin drive gear for increased power and gear strength. A lightweight ZAION rotor keeps the reel responsive, while dual MagSeal protection helps guard the body and line roller against salt, dust, and water intrusion.
The reel’s multi-layer carbon drag system is designed for increased durability and consistent pressure under heavy loads. With an aluminum radiation drag knob for improved heat dissipation, the Certate SW is built to stay smooth and reliable when fighting hard-pulling saltwater gamefish.
